The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is excited to announce a new community distribution model for rapid COVID-19 tests. Colorado was able to distribute more than 3.7 million free medical grade masks to Coloradans. Building on the success of the free mask community distribution program, Spanish Peaks Library District has opted-in to receive rapid antigen COVID-19 tests to distribute to the public for free, expanding access to free at-home tests for Coloradans.
The Spanish Peaks Library District has received 1,800 rapid antigen COVID-19 tests. In approximately 2-3 weeks, SPLD will receive another 1,800 tests.
Due to the limited number of tests in each shipment, we are distributing tests only to those who come, in-person, to the library.
