Volunteers Needed
The Spanish Peaks Library District is seeking persons interested in applying for the position of president or co-president of the SPLD Board of Trustees. This is an exciting time for someone with good organizational and leadership skills to take on this voluntary position as the Library is working towards expanding into the upper floors of the historic building in which it is housed. The position is particularly suited for one who would like to be on the front lines of a major building project, and who realizes the positive effect such an undertaking would have on their community and their resumé. Board meetings
occur once a month and will be scheduled when it is convenient, taking into consideration the president’s work schedule. The same applies to committee meetings. It is the policy of the Board of Trustees to invite audience participation during the public comment portion of the Board of Trustees meeting agenda designated for this purpose. In order to provide a fair opportunity to every person that desires to address the Board of Trustees, the Spanish Peaks Library District Public Comment Policy should be followed.
