The Library Board of Trustees will continue to monitor this situation and keep the community apprised should these circumstances change. The health and safety of our staff, patrons, and the Huerfano County community is of utmost importance.

In response to the pandemic, the Spanish Peaks Library District is taking the following measures to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, and our surrounding community:

Spanish Peaks Library has bundles of N95 masks for free distribution. Mask usage inside of the library is optional while the COVID-19 Community Level in Huerfano County remains low.

Park and Pickup Service is available to all patrons who do not wish to come into the library building. For further details, call the library at 719-738-2774 or visit https://www.spld.org/about-us/curbsidepickup/.

Publicly accessible computers are available to patrons.  After each user, all workstations are cleaned by library staff.

Meetings and Events are still being held in our community meeting room.

Due dates have been extended and overdue fines will be forgiven during this period.

WiFi is available to patrons throughout the building and in the surrounding parking lot and patio space.
