Thursday, June 3rd and Friday, June 4th the Friends of the Library will be hosting a book sale at the Spanish Peaks Library from 10am to 4pm. Books for all ages, both fiction and nonfiction, will be available for sale.
Those wishing to patronize the book sale can enter the library through the doors on the east side of the building. Masks will be required.
2020 Summer Reading Program “Imagine Your Story” begins July 1st.
We are doing our reading logs online this year. It is through a program called READsquared. You will be able to earn badges and prizes by completing missions and logging your reading. It is also where you register for the program. You can reach it at http://spldco.readsquared.com/

The Spanish Peaks Library District is seeking applicants to fill an opening on the Board of Trustees.The SPLD Board of Trustees are responsible for adopting library policies, securing adequate funding, and planning for the future of the library.
This is a voluntary position with a three year term. The position requires the ability to attend meetings regularly, typically once per month, and the ability to complete delegated work tasks. Applicants must be over that age of 18, and reside within the RE1 School District.
