Judy Passow, a Huerfano County resident will be sharing her interest and expertise regarding the art of Ukrainian Egg Design that has been passed down for more than 1,000 years. Judy has taught throughout the United States (including at the Smithsonian Museum) and in Europe. Her beautiful eggs are on display in many cities, and she enjoys sharing this craft with others. Judy will share the process and her artful eggs at 2 PM Friday February 25th at the Walsenburg Library; then the program will be repeated at 2PM March 3rd at the La Veta Library. Later in the spring an actual class will be offered! Judy has been so gracious in offering her knowledge to keep this beautiful tradition alive! Come learn and see her stunning eggs on display. Art in Society grant money is making this program possible!
